Christmas in San Diego

This is our very first Christmas season in San Diego. The first of what will probably be many more. Who would have thought? I wouldn’t have even just one year ago.

Here are some snapshots of my week.

We put up a tree and our kid was actually helpful this year!

Spent a morning at La Jolla’s independent bookstore, Warwick’s, and couldn’t resist this season’s most popular memoir, Educated by Tara Westover. I bought it and devoured it in two days.

Took a trip to SeaWorld because we’re 3 miles away so why not?

Got some good work done at my favorite coffee shop, Brick and Bell in Pacific Beach.

Enjoyed our church’s annual Christmas concert. Superb!
